Criss Cross Puzzle In Kikongo

Kikôngo is a language mainly spoken in Central Africa. However, you can find Kikôngo speakers all over the world. Often times, words starting by KI would be pronounced as TCHI by some speakers, especially in the Lari version of Kikôngo which is mainly used in this book. When Lari speakers talk, R and D/L are often exchanged. The meaning of the word is not altered by this change. The same goes for G and Z. You will find a lot of these instances in your book. Your book can help you build up your Lari/Kikôngo vocabulary, and revise your English and your French at the same time. It is never too late to start to learn a language. Playing as always been a part of the learning process. This book is not restricted to children, adults also can find some value in it. Every criss cross puzzle is associated with a vocabulary list in a section called BAKISA/HELP. You can memorize the list, and then try to test your memory by filling in the criss cross puzzles. Unscramble the tiles will help you with building your first sentences in Kikôngo. If you are lost, go the BAKISA section, have a look, and test your memory. Be gentle with you, learning a new language takes time. Have fun!
