The Ontetic Self

Among several interpretations of the nature of modern philosophy, there are those which consider it to be a history of subjectivism that is crucially rooted in detaching epistemology from ontology of the self, and maintain that contemporary thought has suffered from the weight of difficulties raised by such detachment.
