The objectives of the study were: To study the problems of both male and female students at secondary level in co-education. To elicit the opinions of students, teachers and parents regarding co-education. To develop a future strategy for co- education at secondary school level. All the co- education secondary schools in Islamabad constituted the population of the study . co-education secondary schools were taken randomly as sample for this study. The data was collected through researcher's personal visit . Data was analyzed using percentages. It is concluded that students feel mal- adjustment in co-education. Boys chase the girls in co-education. Students cannot express their views freely. Co-education diverts the attention of the students. It is recommended that there may be separate refreshment points for boys and girls in co- education. It is recommended that there may be separate classes for boys and girls so that teachers can explain those topics clearly and the students can understand them.
