Contributor Bio:  Kruse, Peter Der Journalist Peter Kruse wurde 1938 in Berlin geboren. Er ist der Sohn des bekannten Zeichners Werner Kruse mit dem Kunstlernamen ROBINSON. Nach dem Politikstudium an der Freien Universitat Berlin arbeitete Peter Kruse als Redakteur bei den West-Berliner Zeitungen Der Abend, Der Kurier und BZ. 1976 zog Kruse nach Hamburg und arbeitete dort als politischer Redakteur beim Hamburger Abendblatt.1989, im Jahr des Berliner Mauerfalls, wurde er zum Chefredakteur dieser Zeitung berufen. Er fuhrte die Zeitung zwolf Jahre lang. Von 2001 bis zu seiner Pensionierung 2003 war Kruse Herausgeber des Blattes, das einst der Verleger Axel Springer gegrundet hatte. Zum 60. Jahrestag des Kriegsendes gab Kruse das Buch Bomben, Trummer, Lucky Strikes mit bis dahin unbekannten Manuskripten im Berliner Siedler-Verlag heraus. Im Jahre 2008 erschien sein Buch L'Arronge - Der Hamburger Salon im Hamburger Murmann-Verlag. Peter Kruse lebt mit seiner Frau, der Journalistin Susanne von Bargen, in Hamburg.
