Environment-Human Rights link is one of the new areas that attracted the attention of social science and law scholars After the Stockholm Declaration on Human environment and Development. But, explicit articulation of this area was not came to academic literature immediately. In Ethiopian in general and the study are, that is Dinsho Woreda, in particular, there is public awareness gap on the link between environment and human rights. Thus, the finding of this study indicated that about 91.5% of the respondents reported that they do not have awareness on the link between environment and human rights. Limited livelihood,lack of commitment by the concerned stakeholders and limited advocacy and media works led to lack of public awareness on the link between environment and human rights in Dinsho Woreda of Oromia National Regional State.
