The effect of hormones on lymphocyte phenotyping reaction

One of the topical issues of the modern period is to clarify the mechanisms of neuroimmunoendocrine regulation of homeostasis. The presence of cellular cooperation, continuity of stages of development and regulation by the type of feedback significantly complicates research on the level of biological system. In this case, the issues of hormone regulation of lymph proliferation processes and lymphocyte differentiation are solved under the conditions of a simple model of antigen-antibody interaction. This study is relevant from the point of view of the possibility of regulation of cell receptors under specifically created conditions without many factors of cellular environment. For the first time it was found that the differentiation clusters and Histocompatibility Class II antigens may have affinity with hormone receptors and cross-react using them as ligands. Interesting facts about non-specific hormone receptor activity inhibition of lymphocytes were obtained. Possible hormone cross-reaction opens up prospects for further study of subtle mechanisms of hormone and cellular surface interaction. It is addressed to immunologists, physiologists, and researchers.
