Abstract: Monoclonal gammopathy is a common biological abnormality in the general population with an estimated incidence of 3% above the age of 50 years and increasing with age. The aim of this book is to study the epidemiological and biochemical profiles of monoclonal gammapathies and to explain the principle of the two techniques of their biochemical exploration: serum protein electrophoresis on agarose gel and immunofixation.
