The examination of the iridocorneal angle (ICA) is a fundamental step in the ophthalmologic examination. Indeed, its anatomy varies from one individual to another. It can be the site of numerous anomalies incriminated in various diseases, more or less serious, including glaucoma by The AIC has long been studied by gonioscopy alone, but this examination is subjective and operator dependent. Nowadays, we have new imaging techniques, the most recent of which is the anterior segment optical coherence tomography (OCT-SA). This is a non-invasive, accurate and reproducible technique that offers complementary information to gonioscopy, allowing both qualitative and quantitative measurements of the AIC. Biometric parameters have been developed to improve the reproducibility of measurements and their clinical significance and to facilitate the detection of angles at risk of closure. In this work, we propose to study the biometric characteristics of the iridocorneal angle and the factors that may influence them in a population of 201 Caucasians based on OCT-SA.
