Episodios Nacionales V. Espana Sin Rey

España sin rey is the first novel in the fifth and final series of Episodios Nacionales by Benito Pérez Galdós. The fifth series begins with the story of the Revolution of 1868, in which Spain has lost Queen Elizabeth II as its queen and political intrigue and discussion abounds. One character has romantic involvements with three women from three social classes, which allows the author to illustrate the viewpoints of many facets of society.
