For at least 99% of these amazing individuals, something occurred in their lives causing them to drop everything and attempt to thru-hike the Pacific Crest Trail - a feat that takes five to six months on average.

Meet Sierra, a recent graduate from Truckee, California. After years of encouraging her father to fight and survive cancer, both father and daughter planning a hike together on the Pacific Crest Trail, Sierra's father passes away.

Meet Guy, from New York City, a recent graduate from Medical School. In a sudden moment, Guy's world changes when his parents and best friend die in a fatal car accident.

Both Guy and Sierra feel alone, heartbroken, and orphaned. But unbeknownst to them, fate has determined for their paths to cross.
