Over the Mount

This story is tell about that the Before the world grew silent, everyone attempted to enjoy life while in the midst of a virus. Vaccines were distributed throughout the world and the virus was successfully terminated in those who took the vaccine; however, it mutated within the bodies of those that denied it. The second wave spread throughout the world, ravaging the human population. Despite this, the second American Civil War began. Not only were there losses because of the virus, there were hundreds of thousands killed in the war. As war and disease plundered this country, it left behind scars that would forever change the way humans interact with each other. One year following the second American Civil War and the downfall of the entire world, Evelyn and her people strive to once again build a new civilization not only for themselves, but for those the world before left behind. This post-apocalyptic story represents how life could've been due to COVID. A/N: This is my own original work, please no copying.
