Children are the most interesting, entertaining and delightful of all the human beings that inhabit planet earth. The young of every species are wonderful. Children's dreams, their delighted initiatives, their ability to play with anything and find fun in them is a lesson all us adults could learn from. We adults have a huge responsibility before God for the way in which we handle children, and God looks minutely at our motives and actions, and will call us to account one day. But to enjoy their innocence, to love their unique initiatives, to participate at their level in their fantasy worlds, that is joy eternal.
