In pt. 1 After seven years of physical and mental abuse, Evelyn kicks Ambrose out. Evelyn is surprised he doesn't come groveling back, having told him no woman would look at him twice, and that she only took him in out of pity. Three years later, Ambrose gets engaged to Loretta, but has to rendezvous with Evelyn to close their joint accounts. Evelyn is livid when she finds out Ambrose is engaged, and follows him, as she feels rejected. If I Can't Have You, Then No One Can. Ambrose gets shot, but survives, and the police get involved. Ambrose and Loretta marry, but a bereavement in the family causes them to empty her aunts house, which happens to be in the street where Evelyn Kernow lives. Ambrose experiments with a Double Psychomanteum, and meets a personage who says to call him Zep Tepi, and warns him about seeking information from beyond the veil. Ambrose sees himself get shot a 2nd time, as Hell, Hath No Fury Like A Woman Scorned, and tries to change the future, but is warned that someone else might die. In pt. 2 The police get involved again, but the bodies pile up. Reject Me Once, I'm A Ponce; Reject Me Twice, You Pay The Price. If at first you don't succeed to make him die, again you must try. But who dunnit and why? Filled with twists, but can you solve the crime before the end of the book? This book contains pts. 1 and 2 of The Double Psychomanteum and a sneak preview of chapter 1 of pt. 3 The Oculus Of Eternity. In addition to covering things of a supernatural nature, the book contains references to physical and mental abuse as well as references to lascivious lifestyles which some readers may find upsetting.
