Transitions Between What Was and What is Yet to Come

This is an account of the birth, life, and death of Isaac, son of Abraham from the book of Genesis. Isaac was a special child who was born to Abraham and Sarah when they were 90 and 100 years old. He was what I call a Middle Generational child, born between two strong personalities -- his father and younger son. He seemed not to leave much of a mark on the world, and yet he was important as a buffer between the importance of Abraham and Jacob. Isaac was promised for a reason.
