This art originates from one of the oldest popular arts, in the 6th century, in China. It is called zhézh?, and is said to date from the Western Han Dynasty and was brought to Japan by Buddhist monks. Origami is known as the traditional Japanese art of folding. The word origami comes from the Japanese verb "oru" (to fold) and the word "kami" (paper).
Indeed, origami helps to discover shapes and colors while awakening the child to art, and even serves as a basis for learning mathematics. By concentrating on perfectly folding a sheet of paper, we practice geometry.
