A faith-driven woman is determined to make one wounded man remember what it's like to be loved. Greta Schlabach travels to Faith's Creek to help her ailing aunt Abigail. She is a dreamer determined to find her perfect man. Greta's aunt suggests she might need to settle for a companion and begin her own family. Therefore, Abigail arranges a dinner with a local family who has a son of marrying age. Colin Troyer is haunted by gruesome scars on the outside and fear and shame on the inside. He is stunned when the woman his parents are trying to match with his younger brother pushes her way into his life. Colin doesn't understand Greta. He has a hard time believing anyone would want to look at him much less spend time with him. Greta is determined to prove to Colin that he is worth much more than he believes. Knowing how mistreated Colin is by his family, Greta arranges for him to work on her aunt's farm. After spending time in a healthy environment Colin begins to have more confidence and his feelings for Greta grow deep. He plans to propose but before he can get the words out the worst happens. He learns that Abigail's farm is in danger of being sold to his jealous younger brother. Desperate to save the farm Colin and Greta must marry. But now neither knows what the other feels causing frustration and hurt feelings to boil to the surface. Can Greta make Colin remember what it's like to put his faith in Gott once again? Will Colin overcome his own doubts and embrace a real relationship with Greta before it's too late?
