A time series analysis on fiscal policy and private sector investment in Sierra Leone

This book covers an empirical analysis and interpretation of key macroeconomic variables in Sierra Leone. This study investigates fiscal policy impact on private investment and financial sector development in Sierra Leone between 1980 and 2015. Sierra Leone has depended primarily on taxation as a means of mobilising the resources needed to meet public expenditure. It is therefore very important to study how fiscal variables affect private investment, which is the primary to private sector and national development. This book can help readers to understand direct and indirect relationships between economic variables, and also help policy makers to analyses some of the challenges fiscal policies can pose in public sector financial management.
