Hunt and Roberto return to Denver, and true to his word, a telegram is awaiting Hunt. Roberto is given amnesty, and Colonel Markland complimented Hunt on a job well done. 'You have Ulysses' and my gratitude.' Colonel Markland closed by saying, Molly is a fan. Hunt places Roberto on the Clydesdale ranch, and Roberto learns fast and proves to be a great help. When Hunt arrives in Denver, he has an enormous herd of livestock to contend with. Hunt writes a check to the county and is the proud owner of a herd of cattle that break out of the holding corrals and stampede through town. Hunt's men travel to Grand Junction to stop a band of marauders that are ravaging every town, ranch, and Wells Fargo Station that they come to. Robbers strike Green River and hijack the train after robbing the bank and shooting the sheriff. They arrive in Grand Junction and even though the town is warned of their arrival, the sheriff is killed and the bank is robbed. Hunt sends his men to find and stop the seven from further damage to towns and the citizens.
