You Only Get To Be A Kid Once

In book 5 of the You Only Get To Be A Kid Once series, Boom Boom has a best friend named Lin Lu who just wants to fit in. Lin Lu likes the attention he gets when he tells stories so sometimes he adds adds a little white lie to his stories just to get a certain reaction from people. Boom Boom notices what Lin is doing and tries to get him to see that there is no difference between a little white lie and a really big lie. In the end, all Boom wants is for Lin to realize that no one should ever lie just to get someone to like him.
