The Last Days of Childhood

Lucy sees herself as overweight, unattractive, unloved, sexually confused, and is self-harming. She worries about forthcoming exams. What's more, she works part-time in a care home and the coronavirus is sweeping across Europe. Can she find solace in Kell, a boy who fancies her, or with Fortine, her attractive classmate? She needs help from Grandpa Bob, who calls her his Number One Granddaughter, to get her life back on track.
