from elle a. is a collection of vignettes, short stories and poetry written by a young woman living in Los Angeles. The title is a play on words, both L. A. and elle a. This is the story about navigating a divorce by heading west, to the city of dreams. It's a memoir about following your heart and finding your voice, and finally coming home again. from elle a. was the finalist in the AWP Award Series in Creative Nonfiction (2012) and a finalist in the River Teeth Literary Nonfiction Book Contest (2014).
