How To Explore the World's Cuisine From Your Med School Apartment
Mark Lewandowski
"My name is Mark. I'm a medical student at the University of Toledo. Part of my passion for medicine is that I am endlessly interested in other people and their cultures. I feel that part of caring for others is taking an honest interest in learning more about them and understanding who they are and where they come from. I am on a never-ending quest to learn more about the world and the amazing people that comprise it. My favorite outlet to do that is by studying their foods and learning how to cook them myself. Despite long hours studying and being heavily involved on campus, being able to come home and cook some sort of amazing meal lets me relax and transport myself anywhere in the world that my kitchen will take me. I am a strong believer in working hard so you can take the time to do what you love. As something I love to do, I often cook by feel more than exact measurements, so while I provide amounts for all the ingredients here, I encourage you to explore and modify these to your taste. The more you cook, the more you will discover what flavors work well and what things you like. Start from here, share your cooking with your friends and family, and discover where it can take you and how it brings people together!"This is a collection of recipes from around the world including The Americas, East Asia, South Asia, and Europe. These are recipes that you can make surprisingly easily in a small apartment with just a few special ingredients, special techniques, and a desire to learn more about the food cultures of the world!
