Milan Simmons is married to her high school sweetheart and has a career that she loves, working with youth in the juvenile system. Milan has it all until she finds out the man that she has given her all to for years has been hiding secrets from her. Milan is forced into a position where she has to choose herself and walk away from her past. Maurice "Nightmare" Rogers is every woman's dream and every nigga's worst nightmare. Being at the top of the food chain, he is in a position that many people want, but they couldn't fill his size twelves even if he took them off of his feet and gave them to them. Runnin' the streets with an iron fist and raising a teenage daughter isn't easy, but he gets the job done. When Milan and Nightmare cross paths, he immediately has her attention. Coming out of a bad situation, she isn't looking for what she seems to keep stumbling across with Nightmare.
