Pursuit of Power

Issachar is a freedom fighter turned freelance assassin. When he is engaged to guard the tomb of Jesus of Nazareth to make sure nothing unusual happens he is knocked out by a red-haired boy who is not supposed to be there that night. Did Jesus rise from death? That question is secondary on Issachar's mind as he seeks the red-haired boy who wasn't supposed to see him as a rock-man no human eye can see him as a rock-man. Meanwhile, Bartho, a freedom fighter suffering from chronic depression, carries out his last mission for The Order. He travels to Tunis in modern-day Africa to present the head of mystery to the Alchemist. The story begins with "The Empty Tomb".
