Mathematics Operations

Mathematics Operations is a series of mathematics learning books based on the Common Core State standards for mathematics. This series of books provides grade level assignments that inspire children to learn mathematics without trepidation. The Mathematics operations books help children to develop strong mathematics foundational skills and self-efficacy, that is, the belief that as individuals they have the capacity to learn mathematics and succeed. Ingraining this positive attitude in the mind of young children is key for lifelong learning and application of mathematical operations in everyday life. The first book of the Mathematics Operations book series is a grade one addition book which is organized into six chapters. Chapters 1 and 2 focus on horizontal additions of two numbers and counting within 20. Chapters 3 focuses on additions of one-digit three numbers. Chapters 4 and 5 focus on additions of two numbers in word form and converting numbers in word form to number digits. Chapter 6 focuses on reading, thinking, identifying key information, and solving addition word problems.
