The Firefighter's Sweet Words

With his friends starting to pair up, Silas never thought he'd be the next one to fall. He certainly never thought he'd be the one to fall for a chick with a kid. Especially not a chick with a kid who was taking so much work to convince he was good for her and for her kid. Still Sy was willing to do anything and everything to convince her and he didn't give a damn that it was happening so damn fast. Jillian had resigned herself to be alone for a very long time, at least as long as it took her to raise her son. She never once thought a hot firefighter would be interested in her and she was sure that any guy who took notice of her would run at the mention of her son, and then run faster when he found out her son was sick. Not Sy though and no matter how hard she tried to convince him he should run he refused and not even her idiot ex being an idiot could get Sy to leave. Maybe for once she would go with the flow. Just to see how things went but she would for sure keep her guard up, just in case.
