During the late 1930s and early 1940s, Ultra-Orthodox Jews escaped from Eastern Europe to the new world ... Hur was an only child born into a family stricken by history and steeped in ignorance and preconceptions. Hur reaching adolescence decides to see the world outside, to leave the ghetto and break the eggshell in which he was raised.
