Lyle McClory was a successful writer. Melissa Jackson was a talented illustrator. They were the perfect match - at least for his books and her pictures. To top it all off, this was a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to work for him. She couldn't have asked for a better career jump. He wrote bestsellers for adults, and imaginative stories for children. He was most certainly captivating his audience with everything he created. He was also cold, arrogant and stunningly handsome. He sought his distance though and seemed to give his all to not be in the same room as her whenever possible. They spent more time fighting with each other than actually talking. So why was she so drawn to him?
