The Peace Keeper Chronicles

Life kind of sucks for 17 year old Maxine Hunt. It was bad enough that she got thrown into boarding school designed for the worst kids on the west coast, but it get's even worse when her own classmates try to kill her. Yet when her older brother shows up to save the day, dressed like a modern day super hero, she finds herself tossed into a world full of chaos that dates back to the original 12 superheroes. And when one of the best fighters in the region goes missing on a routine training operation, Maxine and her friends take it upon themselves to go and save her, quickly learning that the world isn't what it seems, and they are in way over their heads.
