Anisha Khatri is a former school teacher and avid children literature enthusiast. Having degrees in Liberal Studies and Child Development, as well as a MA in Curriculum & Instruction, Anisha is passionate about taking children on adventures through children's books.




She resides in southern California with her husband and two wonderful toddlers who ask for books throughout the day. She wrote The Longest Wait in high school as a poetry assignment, which was awarded Best of Show at a local contest in Stanislaus County. This story is about the memories she has of her own childhood summers and emphasizes how we used to perceive time and money. She hopes parents will read this story and relate to simpler times, and that children will delight in the concept of "waiting".
