Fate has not given everyone equal. Each of us has our own inner Mount Everest. Should we compare others to ourselves - and ourselves to others?Or maybe we are more like swimmers who follow their own track - each independently. We only take air and wave our arms, giving our best. And whether we give just everything, it is in our honesty - only we and the Good God know. What does it matter if someone is ahead of us or behind us? We know ourselves whether we can do better or just cheat - others first, and really ourselves at the end - wasting our own potential. How many people waste it like this, on their own request?We really only have one thing to do in life - be human. Everything else is by the way. When I was ten, I met a boy who would sometimes come to the garden in front of my grandfather's. He clearly came from a poor family where there were some problems. Probably alcohol. He was poorly dressed. He wasn't speaking too clearly either. We talked sometimes. There was an extraordinary joy of life in him and a need for contact too, some ......acceptance. Speaking - he was still smiling at the same time, looking at me carefully and impatiently.......
