With the predecessor Swimming , which landed a month before his untimely death, Mac Miller really showed himself as one of the most brilliant talents on the international hip-hop scene. Already at the time of its release, Mac Miller was well underway with the recordings for a follow-up that was intended as a complementary album to Swimming . Mac Miller did not manage to put the finishing touches on the complementary output before his death, but over a year later, star producer Jon Brion has completed the work and closed Mac Miller's intended album circle. Hence the title, Circles .

Circles landed digitally on January 17, 2020 and showcases even more sides of Mac Miller's immense talent. Reviewers and fans are in no doubt: this is a masterpiece and an early candidate for one of the strongest album releases of the year.
