Van Morrison | Accentuate the Positive

Accentuate the Positive is Van Morrison's 45th studio album. This time he delves into one of his childhood musical passions with a fiery homage to electrifying rock'n'roll. No less than 19 of his favourites are reinterpreted this time around, including fresh renditions of songs like The Johnny Burnette Trio's "Lonesome Train", JohnnyKidd & The Pirates' "Shakin' All Over" and Big Joe Turner's seminal rock 'n' roll hit, "Flip, Flop and Fly".

In addition to Van Morrison, a few impressive guests have helped in the making of Accentuate the Positive: the late Jeff Beck provides electric guitar, Chris Farlowe supplies vocals on "Lonesome Train" and Taj Mahal features on guitar on three tracks.
