Mark Lanegan | Bubblegum XX (20th Anniversary)

Mark Lanegan's arguably biggest album, ‘Bubblegum’, is reissued with a new 2024 remaster in an expanded edition to celebrate the album's 20th anniversary.

The anniversary edition ‘Bubblegum XX’ is expanded to include a total of 40 tracks, 12 of which have never been released before, including songs recorded in hotel rooms with Troy Van Leeuwen and the track ‘Union Tombstone’ featuring Beck. Lanegan had actually sent ‘Union Tombstone’ to Beck 20 years ago, but Beck didn't have the opportunity to make a contribution to the song at the time. He made up for that early in 2024, and the song has finally been realised.

The 4LP box set includes a 62-page hardcover book with essays by Lanegan's friends and collaborators, including Troy Van Leeuwen, Josh Homme, Chris Goss, Alain Johannes, David Catching, Greg Dulli, Duff McKagan and Brett Netson.
