Der Ring Des Nibelungen

Metropolitan Opera production of Wagner's epic opera cycle. Wagner drew on Norse legend for the cycle, comprised of four individual operas, and it is generally considered to be his greatest achievement. The Metropolitan Opera's production features James Levine and Fabio Luisi as conductors and stars Jonas Kaufmann, Deborah Voigt and Gerhard Siegel.

Also included is 'Wagner's Dream: The Making of the Ring', a documentary from film maker Susan Froemke that follows the five-year struggle it took the opera company to bring the epic production to the stage.
