Felix & Lola / Love Street

One night, aging carny bumper car operator Felix (Philippe Torreton) had an unusual patron-the much younger Lola (Charlotte Gainsbourg), who rode over and over again alone. He developed a fixation he'd regret, as the mystery girl was running from an abusive lover. Patrice Leconte's moody amour-fou "Felix and Lola" co-stars Alain Bashung. Then, in Leconte's postwar-set "Love Street," unprepossessing brothel handyman Petit Louis (Patrick Timsit) knew he could never have Marion (Laetitia Casta), the young hooker he worshipped, so he sought to better her life in other ways... that would tragically backfire.
