Brainwashed: Sex-Camera-Power

Documentary directed by Nina Menkes continuing the work she began in her presentation 'Sex and Power: The Visual Language of Oppression'. Using film clips from across the decades, she explores the politics of film-making and the use of shooting methods that reduce women to objects rather than subjects, all of which she believes contributes to discrimination, inequality and harassment in the film industry and wider world.
