Documentary exploring the life and work of acclaimed film-maker Orson Welles. The feature chronicles his life from an early age when he was viewed as a musical prodigy at the age of 10 and subsequently directed Shakespeare, became an accomplished magician and starred on stage and radio before he turned 20. Featuring interviews with the man himself alongside those who admired and were influenced by his work, the film explores his career after co-writing, directing and starring in his first movie 'Citizen Kane' (1941), aged only 25.
With footage from his catalogue of works as well as previously unseen material, the documentary follows his struggles as a Hollywood director and his battles for creative control with major film studios.
