Christopher Reeve stars as the eponymous DC Comics superhero in this action adventure sequel directed by Richard Lester. Hoping to start a new life with fellow Daily Planet reporter Lois Lane (Margot Kidder), Superman agrees to sacrifice his extraordinary superpowers in favour of living a normal life as his alter-ego Clark Kent.
