Pursuit Of Love. The

Lily James, Emily Beecham and Dominic West star in this British miniseries based on the novel by Nancy Mitford, directed by Emily Mortimer. Set in the 1920s, Linda Radlett (James) grows up at Alconleigh Estate with best friend Fanny (Beecham) surrounded by wealth and opulence and with a burning desire to find true love. Whereas Linda acts on her passion with abandon Fanny is much more considerate about the consequences of choosing a romantic partner.

However, for all of Linda's yearning to embrace a bohemian lifestyle she struggles to break free from the confines of her strict disciplinarian father, Matthew (West). The cast also features Andrew Scott and Dolly Wells.
