In the family comedy ACE VENTURA – PET DETECTIVE, our titular hero (Jim Carrey, DUMB & DUMBER) takes it upon himself to rescue lost and stolen pets from harm's way. Sure, he may have some unorthodox methods--indeed, he may even be certifiable--but no one can fault his sincerity, as he gumshoes his way through an obstacle course of absurdity. WHEN NATURE CALLS continues Ventura's pet sleuthing in the wilds of Africa. His mission: to avert a tribal war by locating the whereabouts of a sacred bat.
