When Mad Max: Fury Road hit theaters in 2015, it took the world by storm. A completely uncompromising action movie that now, almost a decade later, stands as a milestone in modern action films. Not a feat that can be easily replicated, but that's exactly what George Miller has done with this prequel tale about the character, Furiosa.

In post-apocalyptic chaos, young Furiosa (Anya Taylor-Joy) is taken from her home, "The Green Place of Many Mothers", and ends up with Warlord Dementus (Chris Hemsworth) and his motorcycle gang. On their journey through the wasteland, they pass the citadel where Immortan Joe rules. The two tyrants engage in a battle for supremacy and Furiosa must survive many trials as she struggles to find her way back home.
