Bruce Main (Medusa, The Eddies, Mania) has further developed the unique style he introduced on his first solo release TRACKS with this new offering. Melodic, progressive, intellectual, this is like nothing out there. The illustrious Brian Phraner (Phreeworld, Medusa) plays bass on all the cuts and sings harmony on a couple as well. Bruce Jones makes a guest appearance on flute. There are sound field recordings that immerse you in their environments, it's as if you are really there. If comparisons must be made Pink Floyd and Peter Gabriel come to mind, perhaps a little early Genesis and Jethro Tull, someone even mentioned Metallica!? Some songs are deeply personal, some take a tongue-in-cheek look at current events, the media and the entertainment business. Oblique references and irony abound in the lyrics. If you have heard enough AOR songs grinding out of your radio, don't rap or hip hop and are searching for something new and stylistically different, give this one a spin!
