Blaine Reininger
Broken Fingers is Blaine L. Reininger's first solo album for Les Disques du Crépuscule, recorded in February 1982 with assistance from fellow Tuxedo moon members Peter Principle and Steven Brown. As well as the haunting title track, this eclectic set also includes lively ethnic jig Nur Al Hajj and exquisite violin miniatures Petit Piece Chinoise and Les Nuages. The five bonus tracks include both sides of non-album maxi single Magnetic Life (TWI 144), and rare versions of solo Blaine songs performed by Tuxedo moon, including a demo of the classic Birthday Song.
