Sam Cooke
Sam Cooke had the nickname of the constant number one at his label RCA Victor, because it could be assumed that every new song would storm the charts again. At a time when R'n'B was still a part of rock'n'roll, Cooke recorded the most hits after Elvis Presley and already his debut album sold more than two million copies. To this day, his hit "Wonderful World" with the famous lyric line "Don't know much about History" is indispensable to any nightly radio program.
