Valérie Milot, celebrated for “reinventing” the harp and discovering the power and timbres of this instrument, has built up a discography of more than 30 recordings and received many prestigious awards, including the 2008 Prix d'Europe – the first harpist to do so in almost a century. After completing her master's degree with Caroline Lizotte, she graduated from the conservatory “with great distinction” and continued her training with Rita Costanzi in New York. Since the beginning of her career, she has been named “Révélation de l'année Radio-Canada,” received several Prix Opus awards and been nominated at the Gala de l'ADISQ.
