John White
Born in central Virginia, John has played the piano since he was nine years old. A longtime admirer of Floyd Cramer, he has developed a real taste for piano-centered instrumental music. After years of playing for personal satisfaction and enjoyment, John produced his first of three cassettes in 1995. Today, a total of sixteen (16) CD projects are available.. His unique "drop-step" style results in unusual renditions of many time-tested favorites. A "country flavor" blend of piano and support instrumentation brings new life to more than 150 traditional standards. All CDs are produced at MRC and Alive Recording Studios in full digital sound. An 1899 Steinway Grand and a concert Baldwin Grand piano were used to produce the clean, crisp resonance.
