With combined degrees in Molecular Biology and Ethnomusicology, bothe Alex's, Panc and Assunto, define their music as an alchemical fusion of social science and sound. No Alex draws their musical inspiration from all over the hispano-American map, including narcocorrido, bossa nova, rock en español, electronica, rap, jazz and a.m. radio. The duo was surged from improvisational studio sessions where mixed fragments of traditional Mexican music were layered with electronic beats, and before they knew it, an album worth of work was created, followed by performances at select art events in LA, Mexico and Japan.
