Holler

Holler, out of Vancouver, BC, plays old-time stringband music with authenticity, exuberance and precision. They have devoted much of their lives studying traditional Appalachian music with the masters, through direct teaching and field recordings. This is a selection of southern tunes - mostly from Kentucky, Virgina, and North Carolina - and several orginal tunes from Kori. Holler is Kori Miyanishi on fiddle, vocals, guitar and fretless banjo, Shiho Mizumoto on fiddle and viola, Andrea Cooper on banjo, and Dave Marshall on guitar and mandolin. Woo-hoo!
