A-trak
The turntables genius A-Trak will bring all the kids to the dancefloor with this brand new track and the remixes by his friends Boys Noize and Sinden. The 25 year-old Montreal native became a DMC World Champion in 1997 and has toured with the likes of Q-Bert and Craze until he was hand-picked by Kanye West to be his tour DJ. In today’s DJ culture, A-Trak holds a truly unique place. He founded one of the USA’s most buzzworthy labels, Fool’s Gold, with a mission to merge all aspects of club music. Such a fusion was outlined last year with a mixtape manifesto: Dirty South Dance, which set the tone for Trizzy’s very own production. In a matter of months, his signature remixes were gaining support from the likes of Busy P, DJ AM, Annie Mac, Simian Mobile Disco, MSTRKRFT and Boys Noize. After years of scratching, accumulating air miles and dressing smart, A-Trak has finally become the man to call to make the kids dance. Ask him and he’ll tell you that this is the moment he’s been waiting for his whole career. Nike/iTunes have just released his debut artist project “Running Man” and Kitsune releases now his Say Whoa 12” which features remixes from his friends Boys Noize and Sinden. A-Trak might have been on the scene for 10 years already but somehow it feels like
